Blackbird 5

I have finally finished the book. The book ended nicely, unlike Johnny Tremain. Kit decided that the dolphin was a good home, but when Hannah siad "there is no escape if love is not there," it made kit realize or admit that she had loved Nat the whole time. On the second day of May Kit went to Wethersfield landing and saw Nat! As well as that the ship was named the Witch. In his own strange way Nat told Kit he loved her and wanted to marry her. This book has an ending that really didn't leave me with any destinct questions.

Blackbird 4

I have reached around page 200. Kit has gotten used to this way of life. Some things are happening. They are not able to do somethings like declaring their own holidays. They can't even have Thanksgiving! Another important thing is the town has decided that all the children are dieing because Mrs. Quaker is a witch. They are going to hunt her down and take her to court as a witch. Kit was also acused. Kit ran to Mrs. Quakers cabin to save her. to get her out of there kit swam to the dolfin as it was going by and got their atention.

blackbird3

I have now reached around the page 150. Kit has seen the giant field and it seemed to call to her. She just loves the wide open area, the grass, and the rows of vegetables. Kit also went in and say Hannah Trupper, the supposed witch. Judith didn't dare go near the cabin, but Kit couldn't keep her curiosity down. John also visited. Kit doesn't like talking to William, but she easily talks to John. Kit finally found out that John likes Mercy. John comes and visits often and only for Mercy. Kit seemed extremely happy for him to.

Blackbird 2

I have now reached around page 100. Kit went to a sermon on sabath or sunday. She really didn't like it. they had to walk all the way there on a dirt road and as much as kit refused there was no escape. The sermon to her was just a bunch of boring talking that everyone was forced to sit through. She did noitice a group of children that where squirming around in there seats. Evertime they misbehaved a grown-up would hit their hand with a disiplanary tool. After the sermon she met up with a young man as fancily dressed as her named William.

Blackbird 1

I have reached about page 50. Kit was on a boat from where she once lived with her grandfather. Kit's grandfather died so she went on board a ship, telling the captian that her aunt requested her to come. When she arived some saliors helped her with all her lugage. While she walked to her aunts home she noticed that the roads where dirt and the town was nowhere to be seen. Kit's aunts house was a log cabin, on a farm. Kit seemed extremely fancy to everyone there because she had silk clothes and they all had wool. She also found out how hard they work. She helped mercy with the cotton and was amazed by the swift presicion she had. At night she overheard Judith talking poorly of her.

Its Johnny agian!

I have reached around page one-hundred. So far Johnny has been acused of stealing a silver cup. He went to court and beat merchant lyte, getting his silver cup back. Later Lyte stole it from him , but Jhonny escaped. He took Rab up on a deal and got a horse. The horses name is goblin. He's a beautiful horse, but is afraid of almost everything. Johnny spends many hours training the horse and, in turn, the horse begin to trust him. He also told cillia that every thursday and saturday he would be there. Of coarse, Johnny isn't perfect so he couldn't make it there every time.

Johnny Tremain

I'm at the part in Johnny tremain right after he talks with the apprentice at the newspaper store and is strolling down the wharf with his bad burnt hand in his pocket his hat at a tilt on his head and new hope in his heart. He decided to look at the merchants, but skipped the lyte merchants because he is family of them and his mother told him to never go to them unless he's in real trouble. I have learned about the way silver items where made and how young children learned how to do a job and start a business.
